Team G Childhood Cancer Foundation will be holding an event that you won’t forget about any time soon. It’s called “Cycle 12 For GOLD”! This September, National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Gold is the color of the childhood cancer ribbon. We will be honoring and cycling for children fighting cancer! Choose a relay team (up to 12 people) or be brave enough to ride the whole 12 hours! The event this year is inspired by our Team G Ambassador, Bill Sylvester, who rode last year from the Border of Canada to the Border of Mexico! Bill, a retired Santa Clara County Firefighter, will be the leader of our 12 hour ride! ONE PERSON. ONE PLEDGE. ONE PETAL STROKE AT A TIME. Over 15,000 children will be diagnosed with childhood cancer. Over 240,000 children worldwide are affected by cancer. But you can join the thousands of riders who have saddled up to help raise funds for the fight. As a registered rider, you will receive online fundraising tools, access to templates and fundraising ideas, opportunities to earn incredible fundraising incentives and the official Cycle 12 For Gold event t-shirt. At the event, all riders are provided with fantastic entertainment, three meals, and as many snacks and drinks as needed to hit your personal mileage or hours on a bike goal.
