Eastern Winds, with its mission of music for a cause, supports Narayanan Krishnan and The Akshaya Trust in their mission to provide committed care for the helpless, forsaken, mentally ill, old, and sick destitutes by providing them with healthy food, love and rehabilitation, restoring their human dignity.

Entertain and encourage charity is Eastern Winds motto. They promote cultural awareness and a love for Indian music and, in the process, empower educational, socio-economical, and developmental change related to the community in both India and the United States.
