SJCoC: Worker's Compensation Fraud |

The San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to
be co-hosting an informational seminar for our region's
business community on efforts underway at the County of Santa
Clara to address business fraud in general, and worker's
compensation fraud specifically.
This seminar will cover a wide range of topics regarding
business fraud concerns throughout the county, and will inform
attendees on actions being taken by the District Attorney's
office to combat these crimes. Special attention will be paid
to worker's compensation fraud. Information will be
distributed on the impact of committing worker's comp fraud
(namely the driving up of prices for all businesses), as well
as an explanation of how violators are caught and prosecuted.
