August 2-3, 2014 9am – 6pm The Vibe: The San Jose Soccer + Music Festival organizing committee is proud to announce The Vibe Fest 2014 to be held at P.A.L Stadium and Emma Prusch Farm Park in San Jose, CA on August 2-3, 2014 9am – 6pm. The Vibe: The San Jose Soccer + Music Festival 2014 was created to promote, celebrate, and share the game of soccer with the multicultural community of San Jose, CA, within a healthy family environment of goodwill, food, music and soccer. Our soccer tournament brings over 1000’s of adults and youth from all over the San Jose region. We will outreach to schools, neighborhoods, and businesses within the entire city, region and state to support, attend and enjoy the festivities. The 2014 FIFA World Cup played during the summer will add excitement, energy and international flair to The Vibe. The Vibe: The San Jose Soccer + Music Festival 2014 is proud to announce this year we will be combining festivities with the Tamale Festival formerly known as the Story Road Tamale Festival. The Tamale Festival pays homage to the rich heritage of civilizations who revered the essence of tamales as part of their culture. In past years, The Tamale Festival has experienced exponential growth. The festival has gone from 7,000 attendees the first year to over 20,000 at its peak. The Tamale Festival attendees come from many cultures and diverse communities of the San Jose region. The Vibe: The San Jose Soccer + Music Festival organizing committee will use profits from the event to support nonprofit Tech + Arts + Music + Sports programs for youth and adults in the community. The surrounding communities encompass The Vibe Fest success. The Vibe Fest will give back to the community through these programs which are important for the community to thrive. The Vibe: The San Jose Soccer + Music Festival continues to grow every year providing visibility for the community and business opportunities for the sponsors and participants. |
