Nightlife in Santa Clara is far from boring

Santa Clara, California is one of the best places around to spend some nighttime hours. Almost everyone can find something to do in this awesome little place in the world. It is so often we hear about residents that have been in Santa Clara for years and were not aware of some of the great things to do after the sun goes down. Nightlife in Santa Clara is far from boring.

Of course the younger crowd from 21-25 will find the dance clubs to be some of the best in California, and that is a hard claim to make. There is Tinker’s Dam, Studio 8, Fahrenheit Lounge, and the Swinging Hookah. As long as there is a responsible driver, a group of younger people can make a tour de Santa Clara including more than 100 clubs. The dancing varies anywhere from hip-hop to salsa to country and rock mixed in. The environments are safe and open and don’t forget if someone has had a little bit too much to drink, Santa Clara has some of the best cab services in the state.

If you are more into the sit and listen variety of entertainment, no article would be complete without listing such awe inspiring venues as JJ Blue’s, Avalon and Satori. Music flows through the veins of the residents of this fine city and talent can be found anywhere and everywhere. Want to show off your own talent? Karaoke clubs abound, like The Oasis, Music Tunnel, the New Jersey’s and Gamba Karaoke. Feel free to visit and sing it up or just relax and listen while others showcase their talent.

I would be digressing if I were to not mention the plethora of dining choices late night or anytime in this beautiful city. The Steps of India is one of my personal favorites, the dining experience along with the social format of the restaurant make it the perfect place for an intimate dinner for two or a group of your closest friends. MoGo Barbeque has been described as mind bending and awesome. You can actually feel your mouth start to water as you walk in and smell the aroma. The In-n-Out is an awesome hangout for everyone of any age and it is just ten minutes from Dave and Busters.

That does bring us to Dave and Busters, which is an experience unto itself. It is a combination restaurant and arcade/game room. This is sort of like a Chuck E Cheese for adults, although kids can have fun too. Take your tie off, loosen your shirt and prepare to have hours of fun into the night at this place, there is nothing like it anywhere else.

Personally, I would end my night at The Cardiff Lounge, it is a high energy dance club, but there are few secluded corners where I like to just sit back, and people watch. It is a great end to an evening on the town. Santa Clara may appear one way during the day, but at night its claws come out and it is packed with action for anyone and everyone.
