One person was critically injured in a two-alarm fire at a Vallejo inn late this morning, a fire captain said.

A fire engine crew came across a fire at Discovery Inn at 197

The crew reported the fire to its dispatch center and entered the structure with two off-duty firefighters, Gonzales said.

Crews found and evacuated one person found inside the structure, he said.

Firefighters cared for the patient who was transported by ambulance to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center, Gonzales said.
