Bike trails are near Palo Alto Airport and Menlo Park to Santa Teresa County Park and Evergreen Valley.
Santa Clara, California Mountain Biking
Mountain bike trails can be found throughout the Silicon Valley. Designated mountain bike areas include relatively flat rides along the Bay Trail. This is an excellent trail for beginners looking to enjoy the benefits of mountain biking without the risks involved with more challenging trails. Mountain View and Palo Alto offer more challenging mountain biking areas for more advanced riders. Some communities host mountain biking competitions. The Los Gatos Creek Trail (going through Los Gatos, Campbell and San Jose) and the Coyote Creek Trail are some of the more scenic mountain bike trails for enjoying the region's natural surroundings.
